Smart Products has been manufacturing premium check valves for over 40 years, and in that time we’ve expanded our offerings to give our customers options and ensure they can find the right components for their applications.
We provide nine distinct plastic body materials for our valves, with each being suited for diverse purposes. If you’re uncertain about which option would be best for your application, our Product Application Specialists can help. One viable option we may recommend is our nylon pressure relief valves.
About Our Nylon Check Valves
Our team uses nylon 6 for our valves because this material typically works best for air and gas applications that require a somewhat higher heat resistance over other forms of plastic. In fact, applications that operate within a temperature range exceeding 180 °F are particularly suited for nylon check valves, as these valves can remain functional up to 250 °F.
All of our nylon pressure relief valves are available in two color options: natural (white/colorless) or black.
Characteristics of Our Nylon Check Valves
- Maintain performance up to 250 °F
- Designed for use with air and gases
- Black or colorless options
- Made in the USA and built by hand to ensure quality
- FDA and NSF compliant and corrosion resistant
We should note that nylon pressure relief valves are not recommended for applications featuring liquid since the valves can swell over time. If you require a check valve that can work well with liquids, PVDF, polycarbonate, ABS, polypropylene, and other options are ideal.
