Since the launch of our new PR poppet in February, we’ve had excellent results with it. 

As introduced in February’s, SmartTalk, the PR poppet is a great option for customers in need of a poppet with a more aggressive opening curve and a more decisive close versus the standard PS poppet.

One customer has been experimenting with this new poppet design as a possible solution to prevent O-ring blow out, which was occurring due to their design criteria’s chemical and slightly higher pressure requirements.

“From an engineering standpoint, I feel this new design has merit.  Along with the poppet’s enhancements, we’re also testing additional O-ring materials and the cartridge,” says the customer.
